DAVE MASON
Live
(Friday Music)

Anytime founding Traffic guitarist / sitarist Dave Mason makes a new CD it’s a cause for celebration, and while it's been way too long since Dave’s long promised and hopefully forthcoming studio album, Friday Music's Summer 2007 CD release of Dave Mason - Live The Deluxe Edition fills in some missing links as to Dave’s current live in concert whereabouts. A new version of "World In Changes", Mason’s first post-Traffic masterpiece from 1970 kicks off this 2007 ten cut live CD, which also includes Mason / Traffic favorites "Dear Mr. Fantasy," "Feelin' Alright," a recent studio remake of"40,000 Headmen" (here with the late, great Jim Capaldi) and another recent sounding bonus studio cut entitled "Deaf, Dumb And Blind." Liner notes by Friday Music founder, Joe Reagaso brings Dave's story up to date. One can only hope that Dave gets the time right to release his long awaited studio CD. www.fridaymusic.com / www.dave-mason.com
