Currently referred to as the Sisterhood of the Gretsch, The Gore Gore Girls put might and mane together on their 2007 CD, Get The Gore. Lead singer / guitarist Amy Gore sounds influenced by L.A. punk girl group The Runaways with the tie-in here being the appearance of legendary Kim Fowley, who co-wrote a few cuts here. Fowley’s been on the cutting edge rock for 40 years so his stamp is all over this retro-flavored psych-rock set.
